She is the youngest of three and will soon (no doubt) stop the normal office routine with her visits - just like her two older brothers!
They have a way of their own and this summer I had the extreme pleasure of walking across the parking lot with them for Ice Cream. They bring with them the happiness only a child can bring - pure unabated "What you see is what you get!" I offer little hugs and a check to see if they are "still ticklish?" Giggles and smiles - gleeful eruptions of laughter all around - and still they come back for more. There is an unspoken connection we have and I can only hope I will grow on Bani too. She's too cute!
In addition to this most auspicious occasion I was so very Happy to bring my family along for the event. Birthday parties are after all - family affairs - no? Between the beautiful apparel and the exquisite experience (Music, Food, Family visits) the evening was very enjoyable.
Here Jeet (hands) and Tej - looking intently at the camera - share with me the wonder of these beads..."They were very small last night when we put them in the water...look at them now!" I am instructed to "Wash my hands!", now that I have I sampled the cool slippery feel. I highly recommend you pick one up once - I see why they like to hold them... kids!
Family gathers around to blow out Bani's Candle
Mom and Bani pose for a few photographs as the evening progresses.
Such a beautiful wonderful evening!
Happy Birthday Bani!
